My name is Jen Hathorn. I'm a family medicine physician. Since January 2015 I have been living in Egbe Nigeria, which is in Kogi State. I am serving at a bush hospital practicing full spectrum family medicine. I am working with an organization called World Medical Mission which is a part of Samaritan's Purse. Too Many Veggies???

Is there such a thing as having too many fresh vegetables? Here in Egbe, its hard to believe that such a thing could happen! Surrounded by a scarcity of fresh veggies we talk sentimentally about a times when such delights were a mere shopping trip away. Well... thanks to a complete misunderstanding everyone on our compound was more than a little surprised by a load of vegetables arrived from more than 10 hours away.  I never would have thought I would have an opportunity to complain about too many fresh veggies in Egbe!
